Join me for the special broadcast of the summer! I’ll be taking part in the LV18 Radio Mi Amigo summer celebration of ‘pirate’ offshore radio from the 60s and 70s, live from the studio deck of the LV18 14 – 17 August 2025 and now of course on 1575AM as well as worldwide online and smart devices. My ‘bits’ in all this are as follows, all being well.
FRIDAY 15 AUGUST
6PM – 8PM – all original 45 single records and not a computer in sight; and all huge offshore and ‘turntable’ hits from the 60s and 70s and presented at pace and in a blind panic by someone who Should Know Better. ‘Period’ ‘not an advert’ commercials, scratches, crackles and scrunches (and that’s just the arthritis) with a generous serving of Rick Marks to follow. Don’t miss it!
SATURDAY 16 AUGUST
10AM – 12PM – Back on board again and live with another warts n’ all selection of real live original 45s from the 60s and 70s. Chris Cooper and Mandy Marton follow me later in the afternoon so don’t miss the ‘support act’!
SUNDAY 17 AUGUST
7PM – 10PM – ‘Steve Jenner’s Endless Summer’ celebrates three hours of offshore summer classics upfront of Paul Windsor. Serving suggestion – great with a BBQ with or without AM! Join me for three hours of cheerful and seasonal Marine Offence……!
