Today we mourn the loss of one of our key inspirations and supporters. Ian Hickling was involved with most (if not all) of our various radio exploits on the LV18 over the past 25 years. He was key in getting us to where we are with Radio Mi Amigo being on the air 24/7. We truly would not have been able to do it without him.
On a more personal level, he was a great friend to us all and he was the life and soul of every room he walked into.
His surprise visit to our December broadcast (pictured) made the whole cold affair worth it. No fire needed that day as he warmed us all and had us in fits of laughter. The bottle of rum he gifted our chairman helped as well.
Our thoughts are with his devoted wife and loving family at this time.
